The death ocurred at the Prince Edward Home onJune 3 ,2026 of Stella Knox Gray born October 26, 1943, in Deblois, Tignish PEI
Oldest daughter of the late Albert Knox and Mary Yvonne Perry.
She was one of 13 children and is survived by siblings Irma Rosky, Catherine Yorke, Jim Knox, Paul Claude Knox, Paula Claudia LaPierre, and Floyd Knox.
She is predeceased by her siblings Ronald, Leonard “Len”, Myrna, Elizabeth “Betty”, Bertha, and Ray.
She is survived by her daughter Carol Gaudet (Tom), and grand children Kelly McCardle and Sheamus McCardle.
She was predeceased by her husband Albert Gaudet and daughter Kathy also by husband Barry Gray.
She is also survived by sister and brothers in laws Evie, Margaret, Fred Roskey, Mike LeBlanc, Dave Foggoa, Dave Yorke, Christine, Cyndi, Allan LaPierre, Darlene and Kelly as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Stella enjoyed quilting, cooking, baking particularly her "Famous" cinnamon rolls, dancing, and playing cards. She lived for her family, particularly her grandchildren Kelly and Sheamus who she was so very proud of.
A special thank you to the staff at The Prince Edward Home "Valour Hall" for your special love and care over the last few years.
Funeral mass will be held on Thursday June 11th at 2:00pm at Immaculate Conception Church Palmer Rd, Saint Louis PE with interment thereafter.
The family is hosting a Celebration of Life / reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall Palmer Road, Following the burial, all are welcome to come and share stories , laughs and a cup of tea..or coffee.
