Terrence Blanchard, age 70, of Elmsdale, PEI, passed away peacefully in Palliative Care on June 3rd, 2026, surrounded by the people he loved.

Born on December 17th, 1955, in St. Louis, PEI, he was the son of the late Joseph Blanchard and the late Mary (Ramsay) Blanchard. Terry built a life anchored in hard work, kindness, and devotion to family. He spent years working as a truck driver and was a proud employee of Spud Ltd, where he was known for having an incredible sense of humor and being a friend to all.

Beyond his career, Terry had a deep passion for spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, whether they were camping or simply spending time together at home. On Sunday afternoons, he could be found tinkering on anything with a motor alongside his sons. He will be remembered for his gigantic heart and exceptional storytelling. He was an amazing father who taught us the value of resilience, the power of positivity, and the importance of laughing at yourself.

He leaves behind a beautiful legacy and will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Lorraine Blanchard; his children, Renee (Lynn), Ryan (Tina), Rickey (Chelsey), Randon (Sarah), and Dalton (Nikeda); and his cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Jaxon, Delaynee, Joshua, Sierra, Hudson, Leland, and Olivia.

Lovingly remembered by his siblings, Shirley (Jack Lewis) Johnson, Ronnie Blanchard, Muriel (Nelson) Cousins, Thelma (and the late Willard) Blanchard, Kathleen Williams, Marlene (Lou) Gallant, Donna (David) Gallant, Sharon MacPhail, and Blair (Monique) Blanchard.

Also remembered by his in-laws, Elaine (Fred) Luttrell, Muncey “Rook" (the late Carol) Shields, Geralda (Burt) Arsenault, Phyllis (the late John) Nugent, Blaine Shields, Dale (Dianne) Shields, Billy (Christine) Shields, Kevin (Bernadette) Shields, and Audrey (the late Kevin) Griffin.

He was preceded in death by his parents (Joseph and Mary Blanchard), Jean Blanchard, Brian Williams, Robert MacPhail, Jean Draper, Barbara and Billy Bernard, Mae (sister in infancy), as well as his granddaughter, Everly Blanchard.

Resting at West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Rd, St. Louis, PEI. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 4:00–7:00 pm.

The funeral will be held Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Rd. Interment in the church cemetery will follow the mass.

All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend. Fr. Praveen will be officiating.
