The death occurred peacefully with family by her side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Saturday, May 30, 2026, of Aletha Laura Fall (nee Francis), beloved wife of Gordon Fall, of Tryon, aged 63. She was the daughter of the late Leith and Betty Ann Francis.

Aletha was the loving mother of Jason Fall (Mindy) and Traci MacVittie (Heath); grandmother of Parker, Piper, Palmer; and Samantha; and great-grandmother of Oscar.

She is also survived by her sisters, Adele Wood (Walter deceased) and Heather Francis; brothers, Jamie Francis and Cory Francis (Beverly); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her parents-in-law, Frederick and Flora Fall.

Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow, for visitation on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, Crapaud, on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
