The death occurred peacefully at Andrew's of Summerside on Tuesday March 31st,of Clifford Joseph Bernard, aged 88, of St. Edward,PEI. He was the husband of the late Velda(Doucette) Bernard and son of the Late Joshua and LaJane(DesRoches) Bernard.

Left to mourn are his children, Ritchie(Donna), Deborah, and Brian(Laura), also sadly remembered by numerous Grandchildren and great Grandchildren.

Lovingly remembered by his brother and sisters, Lucille Ellsworth, Diane Gaudet, Madeline Perry and Adrian Bernard.

Clifford was pre-deceased by his parents, Joshua and LaJane Bernard, his wife Velda Bernard a son Barry Bernard, and his brothers and sisters, Wilbert Bernard, Eddie Bernard, Norma Arsenault, and Noreen Pitre.

Clifford was a wonderful caring man who would always volunteer for anything important, whether it was the church, the Knights of Columbus, which he was an active member of until his health declined, or anything else that he could help with. He was also an avid Bingo player.

Resting at West Prince Funeral home , 522 Thompson rd.

Visitation will take place next week with confirmation later.

Funeral arrangements will also be announced as soon as possible.
