The death occurred peacefully with family by his side, at Prince County Hospital, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, of Wendell Earl Sentner, aged 71, of Hunter River, P.E.I. Special partner of Louise Maye. He was the son of the late Raymond and Ruth (Whitlock) Sentner.

He will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters, Kim (James), Carol-Anne (Ken) and Wendy. He will also be remembered by his grandchildren, Kennedy, Jeremy, Brooke and Breanna; and his great-grand son, Leighton. He is survived by his four brothers, Brian (Lynn), Allan (Marlene), Kevin (Mary) and Roger; the mother of his children, Ann Larter; sisters-in-law, Vickie and Karen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Wendell was predeceased by his brothers, David, Winston and Everett.

Wendell will also be lovingly remembered by the “Boys at the Shop” and many in the Hunter River Community.

Resting at CENTRAL QUEENS UNITED CHURCH, HUNTER RIVER, for visitation on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 5-8 pm. Funeral to be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Central Queens United Church, Hunter River. Interment to follow in Greenvale United Church Cemetery.
