On Monday, March 16, 2026, Emard Fulton Court, of North Rustico Harbour, passed peacefully into the loving arms of his Saviour, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, aged 102.

He was the son of the late Beecher and Ella (Affleck) Court. Emard is survived by his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Court (Alberta), and Alice Court (Ontario); and by his nine nieces and nephews and twenty-four grand nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Quintin, Veard, Myron (Marilyn), Vance; and by his sisters, Una (Otto) Curtis and Linda (Alex) Kurylyk.



Emard’s family wish to express their profound gratitude to Art and Diane MacKenzie for the loving care they have provided to Emard over the last several years.

Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow, for visitation on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Central Queen’s Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Interment later in Cavendish Community Cemetery.
