The death occurred peacefully after a courageous battle, at the Palliative Care Unit in O'Leary PEI on Feb 19, 2026 of Carol Osborne of Kildare, aged 67.

Carol was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertie(MacLeod) Osbourne of Beach Point PEI.

Left to mourn is Carol's daughter Jodie Mae Smith ,her neice Teena Moffat, her dear friend Jeff Herc, and her sister Susan Osborne.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Gertie, her brother Joe, and sister Debbie Osborne.

Carol was very fond of fishing, She couldnt wait for the season to start in the spring, and spent many hours on the edge of the water trying to catch the big one. She also loved gardening , watching the birds, and beachcombing for sea glass. She also had a special place in her heart for her dog Maggie and cat Big Boy.

Carol's family would like to extend a huge Thank You to the Home Care and Palliative teams , who were so compassionate and kind through the whole process.

There will be no visitation by personal request.

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later time.
