The death occurred at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Friday February 13, 2026, of Heather Martin, beloved husband Richard Martin of North Rustico.

She was the daughter of the late Jackie and Regina (Gallant) Doucette; mother of Shelley Doucette, Dean (Wendy) Martin, and Troy (Connie) Martin; grandmother of Samantha Martin, Leslie Martin (Austin Haynes), Asher Martin, Annaliese Martin; and great- grandmother of Lincoln Haynes, and Payton Haynes.

She is also survived by her sister Della Gallant (Ronnie deceased) and bother John (Johnnie) Doucette (Linda).

Heather was predeceased by her parents and brother-in-law Ronnie, as well as relatives in the Martin family.

Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service at Stella Maris Roman Cathoc Church, North Rustico on Thursday February 19, 2026, at 10:30 am.
