The death occurred peacefully, with family by her side, at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on December 31, 2025 of Jo-Anne Helen (nee Gosbee) Murphy of Little Sands. Age 66.
Beloved wife of Gordon Murphy. Cherished daughter of the late George and Helen Gosbee, and daughter-in-law of the late Patrick and Lois Murphy. Loving mother of Ryan, Troy (Kacey), Lacey, and Lorina. Devoted Nanny to Sawyer, Maverick, Josie, Talon, and Jordann, who loved her unconditionally.
Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home, Murray River for visitation on Saturday, January 3 from 4-7pm. Funeral will be held from St. Joachim’s Catholic Church, Vernon River on January 5, 2026 at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jo-Anne’s memory to the Make A-Wish Canada or KCMH Palliative Care unit. Interment later in St. Joachim’s Parish Cemetery.
