The death occured peacefully with family by his side at Community Hospital O'Leay on December 24th, 2025 of Valmore Joseph Richard of Alberton(formally Tignish) aged 79. Valmore was the husband of Aldona, and son of the late Frederick and Florence(Maillette) Richard.

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Aldona, and their children Amelia (Grant) Gallant and Jason (Denise) , Also by grandchildren Logan(Candice), and Madison Gallant. He will be sadly missed by his great-grandchildren, Remi, Jax, Ella and Ember.

He is survived by brother Ernest Richard.

Valmore was pre-deceased by his parents, Frederick and Florence (Maillette) Richard and a brother Leonard. He was also pre-deceased by his in-laws, Rita and Henry Hustler, brothers-in-law Gussie and Marvin Hustler, and sister-in-law Marina Ramsay.

Valmore spent many years fishing and a member of the Tignish Fisheries Co-op, He was also an avid fan of going for drives, he would daily make at leat one trip around "the block', and usually it was more than one. He also loved playing cards, bluegrass and camping. His most special thing though was spending time with his family, whether it was his children, grandchildren or great grandchildren he didnt mind, he loved them all , he also loved spending time with his co-pilot Aldona.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson rd. St.Louis .
