The death occurred suddenly at her home in North Milton, on Friday, December 12, 2025, of Jennifer Ann Gallant, wife of Fred Smith, age 72 years.

She was the daughter of the late Ivan and Margaret (Doiron) Gallant.

Jennifer was the loving mother of Shelley Donnelly (Brian); grandmother of Kristen (Mitchell), Riley, Braden (Kelsea), and Camryn; and great-grandmother of Charlee, Emmett, Phoebee, Jett and Shea.

She is also survived by her siblings Linda Bouchard (John), Mary Perry (Dwight), Bonnie Gills (Gar), Allison Gallant (Carla), Debbie Walker (Dave, deceased), Wendy Silliker (Ray), Donnie Gallant (Sandra), Wayne Gallant (Bev), Kent Gallant (Sharon) and sister-in-law Pauline Smith.

Besides her parents, Jennifer was predeceased by her siblings, Joseph and Liz.

Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow, where a private service will be held. Interment in St. Ann’s Cemetery Hope River.
