The death occurred at Community Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, O'Leary, PEI on November 26,2025 of Darlene Heather Betts, of Howlan PEI aged 72. Darlene was the daughter of the late Gerald and Marie(MacDonald) Veniot.

Left to mourn is her partner Blair Graham, and her children, Heidi(Jason) Chaisson and Daniel(Lynsay) Betts.

Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Brittany Betts, Tristan Chaisson, Lucas Chaisson, Mariah Betts, Callie Betts and Bradley Betts, also by her great grandchildren, Adrian Betts, Ryder Betts and River Chaisson.

She will also be remembered by her brother Russel(Cindy) Veniot.

She was a loving Aunt to Jamie Veniot, Heather Buote, Jonathan Veniot and Jenna Veniot.
She will be remembered by her Aunt Carol Ann(Harvey) Collicut.

Darlene was pre-deceased by her parents Gerald and Marie, and an infant son Sandy Veniot

Besides her family Darlene also loved doing her Diamond art and shopping at the Dollar Store.

Darlene's family would like to thank the staff at the Palliative Care Unit of O'Leary Hospital who were caring and supportive throughout her stay . Thank you !!


Darlene's care has been entrusted to West Prince Funeral Home , 522 Thompson Rd.

There will be no visitation by personal request.

Burial will take place at West Point Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Time and date will be announced later
