The death occurred suddenly, with family by his side, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on October 24, 2025 of Kevin Wellman of Murray Harbour and formerly of Old Fort Bay, Quebec. Age 66. Loving partner of Melodie Shonfield.
Remembered by step-daughter, Michelle Stordy: step-grandchildren; Joshua (Josh), Haliey, Nathan, Ashley, Katie, and Peyton; step-great-grandchildren; Jayce, Jayden, Jovanna, Ethan, Logan, Peyton, and Harper.
Lovingly remembered by siblings; Jeannette (Rene), Judy (Andre), Julian (Rhonda), Nancy (Larry), Marie (Robert), Juanita (Louis), Terry (Karen), Leona (Roland), Patsy, Glenn (Louise), and Daphne (Boyd); and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great- great nieces and nephews.
Pre-deceased by parents; Lambert & Bryde Wellman, parents-in-law Robert & June Shonfield, and wife, Dorothy Stordy.  
Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home, Murray River. Funeral Mass will take place. Interment at a later date at Old Fort Cemetery, Quebec.
