The death occurred at Farmbrook House, Maplewood Manor ,in Alberton PEI on October 12, 2025 ,surrounded by her loving family, of Eileen Mary Butler, formally of St.Edward PEI aged 77.
Eileen was the daughter of the late Joseph and Susan(Gallant) Allain, of St. Edward, PEI. She was married to the late Maurice Butler, and later, common law partner to Wendell Harper.

Lovingly remembered by her children, Cheryl(Darren) LeClair, Ruby (Kenny) Lewis,Troy(Rachel) Butler, Dwayne, and Billy(Stiana) Harper.
Eileen was a loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Also left to mourn are her siblings, Auldine(John) Gavin, Carl Allain, David(Donna) Allain and Linda. Also remembered by her in-laws, Peter Perry, Fred Butler, Leona Allain, and Gerald Gavin.

She was predeceased by her -parents, Joseph and Susan Allain, her husband Maurice, common law husband Wendell Harper, sons Darcy and Rodney and a grand-daughter Destiny. Also predeceased by Estha Perry ,Aggie Butler, Andrew Allain, and Nora Gavin.

Eileen loved her Bingo, Keno and playing cards, where she always had a cup of tea and lots of laughs, She worked at Royal Star fisheries in Tignish for many years, until her retirement

The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care that Eileen received while at the Manor, she was known there as Mamie, or Mamie Putt. The love and care that she received will never be forgotten.

Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home , 522 Thompson Rd, St.Louis PEI.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 14th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

Funeral to take place at Immaculate Conception Church , Palmer Rd,
on Wednesday October 15th at 10:30 am with Father Praveen as the officiant.

Interment in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery following the mass.

There will be refreshments at the Knights of Columbus Hall following the funeral.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Farm Brook House Palliative Care, Maplewood Manor.
