Pauline and Robert moved to Dartmouth in 1976. They lived in a duplex until Robert built their first home on Chaswood Drive. Lindsay was born in 1983 and they stayed there until 1989, when they returned to PEI for Robert to start his construction company. Robert built their current home in 1990, moving in just a few months before Sean was born.

Pauline was a devoted mother to Lindsay and Sean, teaching them the importance of hard work, responsibility and family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she took immense pride in their accomplishments, never missing a chance to celebrate their milestones. Over the last 3 years, she coped with a debilitating disease and relied on her deep faith. Anyone that knew Pauline, knows she embodied the word strength.

Pauline had a passion for her community of Skinners Pond and in particular, the Stompin’ Tom Center. She was a hard worker all her life, working the majority of her career at Nova Scotia Power Corporation and then the Summerside Tax Centre, where she travelled daily for 18 years. She retired in 2014 after meeting Erroll. She faced many challenges in her life, losing her father at a young age, her husband Robert suddenly in 2006, and her beloved sister Bev in 2018.

She enjoyed watching hockey, caring for her grandchildren, and getting together with family and friends for music and camaraderie.

Pauline may have left this world, but her spirit and love will forever be a guiding light for her family. She will always be loved, never forgotten and forever missed.
